ARE TIMBERLAND PRO^® BOOTS WATERPROOF?

Many Timberland PRO^® work boots for men and women are waterproof and use only the highest-grade materials. Gore-Tex^® or TimberDry^™ membranes are used, along with waterproof leathers and seam-sealed construction methods, depending on which pair you choose. All styles are tested for waterproofing prior to hitting the market and we stand behind our product.

HOW DO I MAKE MY BOOTS WATERPROOF?

Whether you’re buying a waterproof pair of boots or a non-waterproof pair, every leather boot can benefit from our line of product care. These water-based formulas are designed especially to treat leather. We recommend Balm Proofer™ for nearly any type of leather, to restore water and stain repellency. 

ARE TIMBERLAND WATERPROOF BOOTS REALLY WATERPROOF?

Timberland waterproof boots – including the famous Yellow Boot and our collection of waterproof hiking boots – are designed to lock out water and let you walk through puddles with ease. Timberland manufacturers also seal the boots’ seams with extra silicone and fuse the leather uppers to the soles to prevent water seeping in and ensure a waterproof finish.
