TIMBERLOOP TRADE-IN PROGRAM TERMS

Sponsor: Timberland, a division of VF Outdoor, LLC, Stratham, NH 03885 (“Timberland”).

Valid: April 22, 2024 – March 31, 2025.  

Program is open only to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older who are not employees of Timberland or resellers or dealers of Timberland products.

By participating in the Program, consumer agrees to abide by and be bound by these Terms.

Return of Timberland Item:

1. In-store:   Visit any Timberland retail and outlet store in the U.S. (NOT 3^rd party dealers of Timberland items). Give Timberland item(s) to Store associate at courtesy counter.   

Inappropriate conduct at Timberland store voids Program participation.

1. By Mail:   Visit timberland.com/responsibility or timberland.archiveresale.com. Complete a “Timberloop Trade-in” request form with your name, e-mail address and all other required information and submit as directed.  Once your request has been received, you will receive an e-mail in response from Archive Resale, Inc. (Timberland’s third party program partner). Following the instructions in the e-mail, print out the pre-paid Federal Express shipping label and affix to package containing Timberland item(s). (Be sure to carefully pack Timberland item[s] to limit the risk of damage in transit.) Drop off the package at any Federal Express location. It is recommended that you obtain a shipping receipt for your records.

Mail return will not be accepted if:

1. “Timberloop Trade-in” request form is incomplete, incorrect or includes fraudulent information.
2.  Package is late, lost, delayed or undeliverable for any reason other than payment of shipping charge.

In either case, Timberland item should be cleaned prior to return.

Provision of 20% off discount code is conditioned upon Timberland (for in-store return) or Archive Resale, Inc. (for mail returns), as applicable, determining in their sole discretion that Timberland item(s) is/are genuine and in acceptable condition.  If a Timberland item is determined not to be genuine and in acceptable condition, 20% off discount code will NOT be provided and Timberland and Archive Resale, Inc. shall NOT have any liability to consumer under any legal theory.  If multiple Timberland items are returned, Timberland/Archive Resale, Inc. may accept or reject one or more of the items in their sole discretion.

For in-store return:

Store associate will advise whether Timberland item(s) have been accepted “on the spot.” If accepted, 20% off discount code will be applied to the purchase of any single Timberland merchandise item in that Timberland store on that day. 20% off discount code is void if not used on that day.  If multiple items are accepted, one (1) 20% off discount code will be applied for each item accepted.

For mail return, consumer will receive an e-mail response from Archive Resale, Inc. advising of such determination within 7 business days of its receipt of Federal Express package.  If accepted, consumer will receive the 20% off discount code in a separate e-mail from Archive Resale, Inc. within 7 business days of the e-mail advising of acceptance of return. Discount code is valid on the purchase of any single Timberland merchandise item at timberland.litevpn.ru until January 1, 2025 at 3:00 AM EST.    

20% off discount codes (whether obtained via in-store return or mail-in return) are subject to the following conditions:

• Valid only on in-stock items (no rain checks);
• Cannot be applied to prior purchases;
• Cannot be stacked with other Timberland offers, coupons, discounts or promotions;
• Cannot be redeemed for cash or credit;
• Discount will be applied prior to tax;
• Valid only for original recipient and is not transferable.

Additional Restrictions:

Consumer represents and warrants that they are the rightful, sole owner of the Timberland item(s) to be returned. 

Fraudulent conduct voids Program participation.

All decisions of Timberland and Active Resale, Inc. with regard to the Program are final and binding in all respects. 

Once submitted for return, consumer relinquishes any and all right to Timberland item(s) under any legal theory, regardless of whether the Timberland item(s) is/ are accepted and result in issuance of 20% off discount code(s). A CONSUMER SHOULD ONLY PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM IF THEY ARE WILLING TO FORFEIT ANY AND ALL PROPRIETARY RIGHTS THAT THEY HAVE IN THE SUBMITTED TIMBERLAND ITEM(S) WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT ISSUANCE OF A 20% OFF DISCOUNT IS NOT GUARANTEED.

Timberland and Archive Resale, Inc. disclaim any and all liability for computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic, programming or wireless Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures or errors of any kind in conjunction with the Program.

Consumer bears sole responsibility for any and all costs and expenses in conjunction with participation in the Program.

A given consumer may submit a maximum of twelve (12) Timberland items for return and receive a maximum of twelve (12) 20% off discount codes. A given consumer may print out and use a maximum of twelve (12) pre-paid Federal Express shipping labels.

Timberland may terminate the Program by posting a notice to such effect in all Timberland stores in the U.S. and on timberland.com/responsibility with at least two (2) weeks’ prior notice.  As of date of termination, returns of Timberland items will no longer be accepted in-store and “Timberloop Trade-In” request forms will no longer be accepted.  However, if prior to date of termination, consumer has already commenced the mail return procedure, the return will be processed as per these Terms. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Timberland reserves the right to terminate the Program immediately due to occurrence of a force majeure event (e.g., a natural disaster, materials shortage, riot, strike, government intervention or pandemic/epidemic); in such instance, notice to such effect will be posted in all Timberland stores in the U.S. and on timberland.com/responsibility. 

Program void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.
